THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative for our client based in North Tyneside. The client is a global organisation who are a Gold Standard Investors in People Employer. THE ROLE

The role is going to be majority Warehouse based with a few FLT duties

90%/10% Split

Book in new stock and allocate to correct location using the warehouse systems
Ensure all stock is allocated to the correct location
Annotate and check relevant inventory with the correct information
Maintain high levels of housekeeping within all warehouse locations at both the client and customer's sites
Follow company processes and procedures at all times keeping in line with current Health & Safety policies
Assist the Warehouse manager with maintenance of all warehouse areas and report damage/accidents

THE PERSON

FLT Experience (Reach Truck)
Experience of working in a Warehouse environment.
Good communication skills between departments
Excellent eye for detail
IT proficient to record and document inventory
Reliability and punctuality are a must

THE PACKAGE
This is a temp to perm role and will transfer to a permanent contract following a successful probation period. The role pays £10.57 per hour.

The role centres on day shift work only (37.5hr working week).

The organisation allows flexible start times and the hours of work are:07:00-16:00 or 07:30-16:30 Monday - Thursday

07:00-11:30 or 07:30-12:00 Friday
