Spencer Clarke Group are working alongside a very successful Accountancy firm who are growing rapidly and looking to employ talented Accountants to join their team Our client is seeking someone to join their
Dundee, Forfar, Crieff, Montrose, Brechin or
Perth office as an
Accounts Advisor.



Benefits include:

  • 31 days per annum (increasing after 5 years by 1 day per year to a maximum of 36 days)

Main duties:
You will mainly be responsible for preparing financial accounts and tax returns for your clients. This will be completed from prime records, manual records, spreadsheets, and cloud accounting software's.


Your role will also include:

  • Reconciliation of all control accounts
  • Preparation of accounts and tax returns (Business & Personal)
  • Preparation of year end working papers file
  • Preparation of business tax computations
  • Preparation of personal tax computations and/or return for business owners
  • Liaising with clients to obtain missing/unclear data and information
  • Ensuring that you record all accounting adjustments required to produce financial accounts and tax returns
  • Ensuring the correct disclosure of items in the accounts in accordance with UK GAAP
  • Analysis of client records
  • Detailed analytical reviews of accounts and identification of tax saving or business improvement
  • Sending final packages for client approval
