J2 Subsea was established in 2008 to provide ROV tooling products and services for the ROV and underwater survey markets.
J2's operations to date have focused on four key areas:rental, service, and repair of ROV manipulator arms, rental of ROV tooling equipment, ROV engineering support and underwater survey engineering support.
J2 Subsea are currently looking to hire a Workshop Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.Based at their facility in Westhill, Aberdeen, the Workshop Assistant will learn and develop the role of support within J2 Subsea Ltd.
You will learn and develop the role of service and support within our J2 Subsea Ltd workshops through handling quality spares, learning exceptional standards of technical service and in-house training / mentoring.
You will work with your line managers to implement policies, processes, and procedures specific to the evaluation and repair of Schilling Robotics manipulators, such as Titan 4 and Atlas type robotic arms.
Duties
- Perform duties independently and as part of a team, liaising and supporting Lead Tooling Technician with regards to daily requirements.
- Ensure the workshop is kept organised, clean, tidy and safe
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance of kit
- Experience of using Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail with good analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
