Toftwood Infant and Junior School Federation are looking for a teaching assistant as soon as possible, or for September. We will wait for the right staff for our children.

We are looking for highly qualified, skilled and motivated teaching assistants who enjoy working as part of a team to join our team to ensure the best possible care and education for our children.

• Have experience of supporting children to become successful and independent learners in a school environment and have a good understanding of how children learn
• Have had recent experience working within a school
• Be a passionate practitioner, who is dedicated to ensuring all children are engaged in their learning, make progress and achieve well
• A commitment to all children, regardless of need or ability
• The ability to support children with a range of SEN and medical needs as required
• Be inspirational in their work, with excellent communication skills, excellent relationships with children and the ability to engage and support all learners
• Have excellent organisational skills, in the classroom and with their own work, including being able to work to deadlines effectively
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Have an understanding of assessment for learning, and be able to use progress information to support the teacher to move children forwards with their learning
• A commitment to providing high quality training and development opportunities to help you progress in your career
• A highly skilled staff across the federation who can support in all areas professional development
• Children that are eager to learn and rise to challenges presented to them

You would be employed under a federation contract, meaning you will work in the infant or junior schools as required.
