THE ROLE
Responsibilities & Duties
- Ideate and provide messaging and creative direction to our marketing campaigns
- Ideally have no business towards a specific channel, but build the content strategy based on the campaign objectives thinking goal first, channel later
- Content creation, curation, planning, and research, pulling in the right resources to brainstorm creative ways of engaging our audiences online
- Setting a content and editorial strategy so the message is consistent and compelling across all delivery streams
- Ensuring content aligns across all the platforms with the brand and adds value to existing and prospective customers
- Aligning with the content & style governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content, and ensuring they are followed across the campaign lifecycle
- Be aware of the success metrics around the content being created per channel, and adapt based on results
- Work closely with the Content Lead to performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.
- Collaborate with Campaign Managers to assess campaign progress, iterate in an agile way and perform retrospective meetings to document learnings and measure against KPIs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or related field OR relevant experience
- Proven content strategy, creation and delivery experience.
- A continous generator of ideas and takes pride in solving problems
- Significant knowledge of the various digital (and ideally offline) content channels
- Content presentation & delivery skills
- Editorial competency, excellent writing skills and versatile in the formats
- Good analytical abilities with a clear understanding of what success looks like digitally
- Ability to spot patterns and trends in the digital and competitive landscape
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills, ideally with a background in agile methodology
- Firm understanding of user experience, the power of storytelling with an eye on conversion.
