Mitie Group Ltd is currently seeking a dynamic and professional Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis at the Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council Civic Offices.

Located in Basingstoke, South West England, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your customer service skills and make a positive impact within a prestigious organization.

As the Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and providing administrative support to various departments.

Your role will be crucial in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests and ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your temporary assignment will begin on 18/03/2024 and end on 28/03/2024. You will be expected to work from 08:00:00 to 17:00:00, with a payment rate of £11.44 per hour.

As a Receptionist, your main responsibilities will include:

Greeting visitors and directing them to the appropriate department
Answering incoming phone calls and transferring them to the relevant staff member
Managing the reception area and ensuring it is clean and organized
Providing administrative support such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
Assisting with special projects and tasks as assigned by management
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times

To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong attention to detail.

Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred, but not required. The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively will also be essential in ensuring your success as a Receptionist.
