    Strategic Estates Productivity Lead

    A two-year fixed-term appointment with excellent benefits.

    Location: North West or North East/Yorkshire. Full-time. 2-year FTC. National travel required.

    We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual who can help shape the future of healthcare infrastructure through systems-level transformation and partnership working.

    Main duties of the job

    Working closely with Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), NHS Trusts, Local Authorities, and third-sector partners, you will be at the forefront of embedding CHP's LIFT estate into long-term service models and delivering our national PACE programme.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Driving estate productivity and improving health outcomes.
    • Shaping estate transformation strategies and business cases.
    • Ensuring CHP assets are aligned with regional NHS reform.
    • Representing CHP at high-level infrastructure and transformation forums.
    • Building and sustaining multi-year delivery pipelines.

    You will work closely with CHP's regional and national leadership to embed estate optimisation within place-based health strategies and system reform agendas.

    About the role

    We are looking for strategic thinkers, credible influencers, and experienced transformation leaders who can bring:

    • A strong track record of estate or system transformation in the NHS or a comparable setting.
    • Deep understanding of NHS estate utilisation, infrastructure planning, and LIFT models.
    • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills, confident operating at ICS, Trust, and national levels.
    • A values-driven mindset, focused on collaboration, innovation, and system outcomes.

    About us

    At Community Health Partnerships (CHP), we redefine the landscape of community-based healthcare. We manage over 300 high-quality community health buildings and partner with NHS systems to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions. Our mission is to enable better care through better spaces.

    We are now recruiting two Strategic Estates Productivity Leads (SEPLs) to help steer the NHS estate into a more integrated, efficient, and patient-focused future.

    Requirements

    • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
    • People management skills.
    • Chartered with a professional institution.
    • Senior leadership experience across the NHS and its partners, including delivering on national and regional agendas.
    • Demonstrable delivery focus across multiple projects.
    • Extensive knowledge of the NHS, delivering new partnerships and establishing appropriate resources and response.
    • Thought leader, able to anticipate future opportunities and develop a response embedded with the strategic direction of an organisation.
    • Develop new partnerships in response to customer ask across public and private sector organisations.
    • Strategic thinking ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they arise.
    • Leadership across infrastructure planning.
    • In-depth understanding of NHS Long Term Plan and NHS White Paper: Integration and Innovation.
    • Collaborator and expert in partnership working.
    • Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills.
    • Experience of delivery at pace in a complex dynamic landscape.
    • Ability to establish needs and develop deliverable commercial models.
    • The ability to make critical decisions.
