Ocean Housing have exciting opportunities within their Asset team to support the organisation to achieve a zero tolerance approach to damp and mould in properties.

The Property Condition and Disrepair Co-ordinator (as it is known internally) will work under the guidance of the Property Services Manager (Assets) to assist in delivering and coordinating the service by diagnosing the cause of damp and mould in properties and specifying suitable remediation, ensuring tenants are kept updated throughout the process with jobs being seen through to completion.

You will have existing experience of carrying out building surveys and have knowledge of identifying and remediating causes of damp & mould to properties.

You will coordinate internal/external contractors ensuring remedial works are completed within required timescales.

You will also have a good understanding of current disrepair legislation and have the ability to plan and produce programmes of asset management works aswell as being confident in using MS Office software packages

It is essential for the post that you will be educated to A Level Grade A-C or equivalent Level 3 qualification and you will have an HNC in Building Construction or equivalent.
