£35,000 - £40,000

ASAP Start -Immediately available or maximum one weeks' notice period

15-month Fixed Term Contract

City based

Hours - 9.30am-5pm

THE ROLE:


  • Planning and delivering allocated events to the standard expected.

Allocated events include; sporting and social groups; Inter Livery events; the Clerk's Reception, the Master's Livery Concert; Glyndebourne tickets for members; and events requested bythe executive team.


  • Developing event project plans and ensuring the Hall and Fellowship teams are fully briefed on the event plan and progress.
  • Preparing and printing (inhouse or externally) invitations, flyers, table plans, menus, programs, order of service booklets and placecards.
  • Providing assistance to the Events Manager and the Beadle on all Company events including but not limited to;sending invitations, handing out table plans, overseeing transport and accommodation arrangements.
  • Assisting the Membership Development Team with the Admissions events procedures.
  • Preparing and sending membership communication documents and materials.
  • Acting as the first point of call to members and external livery contacts. Redirecting and taking messages and using initiative to deal with queries as appropriate.
  • Collating and analysing segmentation from Salesforce and preparing reports to provide insightful information to help inform decision making.
  • Creating, producing and distributing the annual Christmas and birthday cards.
  • Observing confidentiality and complying with the data protection policy for membership data.

THE PERSON:


  • Proven experience of events planning and delivering an event to deadline.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written skills.
  • Highly organised with strong administrative skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • A teamplayer with the willingness and flexibility to help out on other projects as needed and to be part of a small high performing team.
  • Experience of developing effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in partnership with other areas of the Company to deliver results.
  • Proactive and positive approach to work and someone who takes initiative.
  • Ability to organise own workload and to deliver accurate work when under pressure.
  • Previous experience of inputting data and generating reports from Salesforce or another database/CRM system.
  • Previous experience of updating Company websites with excellent proof reading and attention to detail skills.
