Our client, a local authority in Leicestershire is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Children with Disabilities TeamHybrid working opportunities available
Responsibilities of the role:
- To be responsible for leading child protection enquiries and managing risks.
- To have a childcentred approach in order to work closely with the children and their families to ensure the whole family is supported.
- To be able to work in partnership with families to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- To be able to build positive and consistent relationships between the families we work with and social workers, together with the multidisciplinary team.
- To be able to work closely with a range of professionals from education, health and the community and voluntary sector. This partnership working is crucial to achieve the best outcomes for children and their families.
Requirements of the role:
- To have a Social Work Qualification
- Must be Social Work England Registered
- Must have relevant social work experience
- Must have knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.
