Job Summary

Brinvale Bird Foods are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various production processes, including bagging, handling materials efficiently, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting, requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.

Duties

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth workflow
• Handle materials using forklift trucks, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently, utilising forklifts where applicable
• Assist with picking & packing orders for shipment, maintaining accuracy and quality control
• Operate a seed cleaning machine.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards

Experience

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred, particularly in materials handling,
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with forklifts is desirable but not essential; training will be provided if required
• Experience in picking & packing, stocking, or quality control roles is beneficial
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations
• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.35-£15.95 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
