The Role:

As a PR Assistant, you will play a vital role in amplifying our message, engaging our audience, and raising awareness of our impactful programmes.

You will collaborate closely with our passionate Head of PR, helping to shape compelling narratives that ignite conversations and drive positive interaction.

Your creativity and dedication will be instrumental in expanding our reach and connecting with individuals through our campaigns.

Role Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head of PR and wider team to brainstorm innovative ideas and initiatives that generate public interest and support.
Design and prepare PR content, including press releases, newsletters and collaboration with influencers
Assist in organising and execution of events and campaigns
Conduct research to support PR planning
Establish and maintain relationships with media, clients, vendors, etc.
Maintain PR database documenting media coverage and track according to established metrics
Collaborate with the marketing team where required to enhance brand awareness
Support members of the PR team by keeping contact lists and projectspecific records
Assist with clerical duties as needed

Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
Experience, qualification or strong interest in public relations, communications, or related fields (volunteer experience will be considered).
Proficiency in content creation such as articles and newsletters.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a team and build positive relationships.
