Nunhead Salvation Army Church & Community Centre is looking for a
_Café Assistant _to be responsible for the day to day running of a busy and vibrant Cafe.


You will:


  • Prepare the food, setting up the café launch, take orders, serve customers, and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Be enthusiastic with excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team
  • Have a good understanding on how take orders, prepare, and serve food and be confident in using the coffee machine.
  • Be able to receive customer payments for the food and use the cash register. Assist with cashing up at the end of the day as directed.
  • Maintain all areas including the tables to a tidy, clean and hygienic standard, ensuring tables are cleared and cleaned promptly.
  • Assist Café volunteers to work safe and effectively in the preparation, serving and cleaning of the café.
