As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the teacher in the lesson and helping any of the pupils with any issues or problems they face.

Key Responsibilities
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people.
- Attends to the pupil's personal needs, and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.
- Establishes good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and being aware of and responding appropriately to individual needs
- Encourages pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher and to interact independently where appropriate
- Supporting the teacher in managing pupil behaviour, and supporting pupils whenever necessary and reporting problems with pupils
- Undertakes pupil record keeping as requested
- Gathers/report information from/to parents/carers as directed
- Provides clerical/admin support e.g photocopying, typing, filing, collecting money etc
- Prepares and maintains equipment/resources as directed by the teacher and assists pupils in their use
- Is aware and complies with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
- Assist with the supervision of pupils out of lesson time e.g clubs, extracurricular activities.

Salary:
£56.20-£87.57 per day
