Art Teacher
Qualiteach is looking for an experienced and qualified Art Teacher who can start with them in January.

You will be responsible for the planning and delivering of Art lessons to small groups of 6-8 students who have been removed from mainstream education.

Thestudents will be learning the Arts Award Sliver and Bronze qualification, so knowledge of this is a must.

During your lessons you will have 2 Teaching Assistant who will help you set up and tidy away your lessons, support the students during their lessonsand manage any behaviour when it happens.

The ideal Art Teacher for this role ideally needs to have had experience in a Pupil Referral Unit or taught quite challenging students and have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.


Pupil Referral Unit

This Pupil Referral Unit is found in the London brough of Southwark and caters for students aged between 11-16 years, who have been removed from a mainstream school on a temporary or permanent basis.

They currently have 70 students who attend and in their lastOfsted in June 2018, they were reviewed as 'Good' in all areas.

This school believe that education can transform lives and they aim to give all their students learning experience that they will benefit from in their lives beyond school.
