Description

• Work closely with Senior Sales Engineering Director and Regional Sales VP to create strategy for retention and growth within the region.
• Manage all aspects of the team, including hiring, coaching and development, regular 1:1 session, and annual reviews.
• Work collaboratively with other groups, such as Solution Engineering, Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product Management, to provide effective operation of your team, securing the technical win, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
• Formulate and hold the team accountable for best practices for presentations, demos, proof of concepts, and customer feedback.
• Provides mentorship/guidance on technology and competitive trends to clients, partners, and employees.
• Ensure retention of technical relationships within customers and partners.
• Stay current with changing market and technology trends.
• Provide market insights to internal groups such product management and engineering.
• Ensure team is documenting and communicating nonstandard feature requirements and creating entries in feature request system to reflect customer requests.
• Communicate to leadership weekly on progress.

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical area (Computer Science, Computer Engineering); or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a Pre-Sales Engineering leadership role in networking, security, cloud.
• Relevant industry experience selling to or supporting customers in the region.
• Effective technical presentation skills.
• Excellent communication capabilities.
