HGV Technician

Leyburn, North Yorkshire

£34,000 - £46,000 per annum

Role Requirements

  • Knowledge & experience of HGV maintenance, preferably with tipper and concrete mixer experience.
  • Have a city & guilds qualification relevant to the role.
  • Experience of vehicle diagnostics with the ability to identify and rectify diagnosed problems.
  • Experience working with Plant and equipment, preferably with a working knowledge of running gears on semitrailers.
  • Previous experience working with Volvo, Renault & Scania HGVs.
  • Class 1 & 2 driving licence preferable but not essential.
  • The ability to work under pressure and use initiative to make time sensitive repairs.
  • Preferably have knowledge of asset maintenance software.
  • The ability to work as part of team and independently when required.
  • A willingness to carry out other maintenance duties across site commensurate with the role and your skills and experience.
