£20k - £24k (depending on experience)
The Role:
A reputable firm is seeking an experienced administrator to join their Planning Team.
While legal experience is a positive, they are more interested in finding the "right fit" for the department who can actively influence the way the team works.
Someone with a passion for, and a desire to, make a difference.Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the Partner and other solicitors in the team.
- Managing all administrative tasks such as taking calls from clients and passing on messages, opening and closing files, drafting correspondence and ensuring all documentation associated with a case is filed correctly
- Quickly learn new processes, understand them, and will endeavour to suggest improvements where necessary.
- Using Excel for data purposes (intermediate to an advanced level of experience is required)
- 23 years' experience in an administrative role ideally within a law firm however not essential
- Excellent phone manner, with proven ability to deal efficiently, patiently, and courteously with telephone queries.
- Proactive approach to work and always displays a cando attitude.
- Highly organised, with a methodical approach to work and ensuring that all tasks are completed with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent general IT skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Able to balance competing priorities and work to deadlines and targets.
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to build effective relationships with colleagues
- Previous experience of Planning would be an advantage, but not essential.
