Welcome to Goldielea Care Home in Dumfries, Scotland, where our experienced team provides holistic, person-centred care for Residents in a warm and friendly environment.

Located on the outskirts of Dumfries our Grade 2 listed Home, once frequented by Scottish poet Robert Burns, is set in 10 acres of breath-taking parkland, always a marvel to enjoy.

Our Home is staffed 24-hours a day by our qualified nursing team who work alongside our care and support teams to ensure Residents have a personal care plan tailored to their needs.

The Role...

We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor in Goldielea Nursing and Residential Care Home to assist in making sure that the Home where Residents live is a clean and safe environment.

It is such an important role and one where you can make a real difference to enhancing the life's of others.

Duties...

Being able to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the Home, respecting Residents and their care
Using a variety of cleaning products, ensuring COSHH regulations are applied (don't worry you will receive training in this)
Being comfortable communicating with Residents, their families and also working alongside Colleagues good interpersonal skills are essential given it is all about the people
Have an awareness of Health and Safety
