About us

We are professional and our goal is to Blue Butterfly Dance Company was established in 2015 and moved to its very own Dance Studios in Eastleigh town centre in 2019.

The school's main ethos is FUN.

We allow students to grow and develop their love of dance at their own rate in a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere.

We are an IDTA registered dance school and offer the opportunity of grades and exams without putting too much emphasis on them.

Students have the option of participating in exams and regular stage performances, but they are not compulsory for them.

We are looking for a Motivated, Passionate and Inspiring Contemporary Dance Teacher to join our vibrant Dance Studio.

You will be responsible for teaching and training our contemporary students aged from 7 years to adults, ensuring that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired to achieve their goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To teach Contemporary Dance from beginner to advanced level.
• Provide a fun and creative environment.
• To plan, prepare and teach lessons across the age and ability range.
• Evaluate student performance and make recommendations for improvement.
• Choreograph routines for performances.
• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students.
• To become a valuable member of our teaching team

Qualifications and education requirements
A degree or diploma in dance is preferable and/or a qualification from a recognised organisation.


Additional notes
This role is offered on a self-employed basis. Payments is made monthly upon receipt of an invoice.

Hours of work are currently Wednesdays 4pm-8pm

£18.00-£25.00 per hour
