Freight Forwarding Apprentice - We have 3 positions available with opportunities in both Road and Ocean

Salary:
£ £20000 dependant on experience and qualifications PLUS benefits


Job Type:
Full time, permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Freight Forwarding Apprentice - The Role:

We are looking for people with a make it happen attitude, who want to learn how to be confident at building and maintaining relationships with customers, as well as providing a great service in order to generate and increase the business.


Freight Forwarding Apprentice - Responsibilities will include:

  • The handling of movement of goods by either Road or Ocean
  • Managing some of our Key clients to ensure that their requirements are met
  • Arranging for the clearance of goods when required
  • Liaising with other internal Departments to ensure the smooth running of the job
  • Working closely with carriers and agents overseas to book shipments and to resolve exceptions and discrepancies as they arise
This position is based at MIFT in Trafford Park which has good road, bus and tram links. In addition, you will need the right to work in the UK - we can't sponsor work permits.


Freight Forwarding Apprentice - You:
