Please see the attachments for the full Job Description and Person Specification Duties and Responsibilities Provide specialist clinical and financial administration support and advice to the team by: Receiving and processing HOS invoices and credit notes through the appropriate financial system.

This includes scrutinizing data to ensure charges are appropriate and raising challenges with providers for inappropriate charges.

Ensuring all HOS invoice and clinical patient data is managed securely and cross referenced with the relevant databases such as the NHS Spine.

Scrutinizing financial and clinical data as a proxy measure for clinical appropriateness highlighting, investigating and challenging home oxygen equipment prescribing and invoicing where necessary.


Acting as a point of contact for HOS, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously Running and collating reports which may include reports to the Board and senior management as required.

Developing and maintaining effective electronic filing systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team Preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing notes of meetings including typing up of group discussions and interviews as necessary Arrange meetings and events (including virtual), including booking suitable venues preparing agendas/papers/reports and distributing documentation.

Co-ordinate the management (under supervision with the appropriate team member) of Freedom of Information requests in accordance with the legislation.
