Crystal Hall Care Home is a well established 67 bed private nursing & residential care facility for adults with mental health disorders and/or neurological disorders

We are seeking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our Catering team who is committed to maintaining the highest standards in the kitchen and during the food preparation process.

Skills and experience required:

Previous experience of working in food services is desirable.
Experience of working within a busy kitchen environment as part of a team is desirable.
Ability to communicate effectively with other team members is essential.
A willingness to learn is essential.
No formal qualifications are required as we provide training & development in relation to this role.

Working hours and salary
- £10.50 per hour

2 week rota shift pattern including alternate weekends
Week 1 (Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday) Week 2 (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
7am 5pm
Part-Time considered

Role Responsibilities:

Assist with food preparation and cooking for daily menus as directed by the Catering Manager / Head Chef
To ensure statutory and Company Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment and kitchen areas are cleaned according to cleaning schedules.
Ensure compliance at all times of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, COSHH and HACCP requirements and legislation.
Follow instructions from the Catering Manager / Head Chef.
