Finance Assistant(Remote/Hybrid)

What will you be doing?
As a you will report to the Financial Controller.
Day to day activities will mostly consist of:
- Sales Accounting and Credit Control
- Invoicing and processing all transactions through SAGE
- Bank account reconciliation
- Monthend management account preparation & presentation to FC
- Assist with system integration of legacy finance system
- Yearend preparation and assisting the external financial accountant
- P&L and balance sheet review and reconciliation
- Reporting and analysis to be undertaken when required
- Assisting FC with project requests
- VAT returns for the group
- Payroll preparation for FC review
- Managing and assisting team with general processing enquiries
- Cashflow reporting
The position is to assist our Financial Controller in all aspects of their role and to provide resilience in the Finance Department.

Work Location:
Offering hybrid/Remote working (6 days per month at head office in Hereford, Herefordshire remaining days remote). Working general office hours, Monday to Friday.

Experience:
- Studying or qualified in AAT/ CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
- Experience of working in a finance role
- Have strong finance systems experience
- Good communication skills
- High level of numeracy
- Attention to detail
- Able to work on own initiative.
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
£14.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 20 per week
