What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity for a Head of Technical to join and lead the Technical Team. This role reports to the Managing Director.

This leadership role that has overall responsibility for the development, management and performance of the technical team.

As an important part of the Senior Management Team you will form strategies and aid decision making in line with the objectives of the Lancashire Business.

The role will include:

Manage the team effectively to ensure that the whole team achieve their full potential
Advocate the Group Health, Safety and Environment Policy while ensuring compliance throughout the team to ensure health and safety standards are met
Champion a culture of "Right first time, delivered on time"
Oversee specific projects and scheduled works, ensuring technical specifications are adhered to and best practices are followed
Add value to both the Design and Engineering functions of the Technical team
Manage, report and cost control all scheduled works, including the formulation and implementation of cost saving solutions, to ensure budgets are not exceeded
Work cohesively with all other departments across the Lancashire business to ensure achievement of targets
Manage technical risks with plans
Oversee planning permissions and other statutory approvals

What we need from you?

Demonstrable leadership skill
The ability to effectively communicate
Technical experience
Full UK Driving Licence is required
