Key responsibilities / duties

  • Updating the Recruitment database, inputting new starters and amending personal information where required, sending contract requests to HR via the system.
  • Update Excel spreadsheets from the live Recruitment database.
  • Manage the teams diaries and ensure all rail travel arrangements are booked.
  • Attend weekly team meetings with input.
  • Supporting Senior Recruitment colleagues with all recruitment related activities.
  • To support the resourcing process in the administration of all permanent recruitment.
  • Organise and prioritise own workload ensuring all deadlines are met reviewing and monitoring priorities to ensure quality and standards are maintained.

Person specification

  • Preferably possess previous recruitment administration experience within a busy recruitment/resourcing function.
  • Must have excellent initiative, common sense and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work with a range of relatively complex support/administration activities.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload, but also enjoy working as a team member.
  • Strong team and supportive work ethic, take ownership of your responsibilities.


  • Excellent PC skills

  • MS Office, Word, Advanced Excel. (Recruitment CRM and PowerPoint experience desirable)
  • Be a selfstarter and motivated to execute this role to an excellent standard.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Investigate problems, queries and issues, presenting conclusions and discussing recommendation.
