Responsibilities:

Conduct onsite inspections and gather necessary data for commercial energy assessments.
Perform detailed energy calculations and analysis to determine energy efficiency ratings.
Prepare accurate and compliant Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for commercial properties.
Provide recommendations for energy efficiency improvements and advise clients on costsaving measures.
Stay updated with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices related to energy assessments.
Expand knowledge and skills by training as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) for residential properties.
Drive to client sites to complete energy assessments, therefore a valid driving license and comfort with driving is essential.
Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and resolve technical issues.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, reports, and certifications.
Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work.
Manage workload effectively and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

Qualified Commercial Energy Assessor with a valid accreditation is preferred but training can be provided.
Experience in conducting commercial energy assessments and producing EPCs is highly desirable.
Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations (e.g., MEES, Part L, Building Regulations) related to energy efficiency in commercial properties is a bonus.
Willingness to undergo training as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) for residential dwellings.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficient in using energy assessment software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable driving and a valid driving license.
A working vehicle will be provided, and mileage will be paid for client visits.

Salary:
£21,000 - £28,000 per annum (salary negotiable based on qualifications and experience)
