Summary of Position

Provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide backup and support to the IT Manager.

The position is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Server and Desktop operating systems and Office 365 environment plus general maintenance of all IT related hardware software.

Responsibilities

  • Escalating IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary
  • Responsible for managing backups
  • Provide desktop and server support as required
  • Setup and configure new laptops and desktops
  • Support bespoke CBS system
  • Support Reform printing system
  • Mobile devices deployment/support
  • Office 365 administration for users
  • Azure site replication monitoring
  • Projects for internal development of systems
  • Monitoring care pack and support expiry on contracted equipment
  • Responding to tickets in the ticket system as required
  • Document any procedures as required

Skills Requirements

  • Previous experience in an IT Support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Be able to work proactively and with a sense of urgency while paying good attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and take initiative. You should be energetic and selfmotivated.
  • High prioritisation and organisational skills with an ability to juggle multiple workloads.
  • Exceptional communication skills. You will actively listen and convey expectations, plans and outcomes effectively to internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Great attention to detail and an interest in producing high quality work.
  • Ability to respond to change in a positive and proactive way.
  • Be able to demonstrate the capability to assimilate key business process knowledge and add value to process automation and systems integration.
