1 post fixed term until 31/03/25


The main purpose of the role is to manage the progress of a caseload of people who are either currently rough sleeping, at risk of rough sleeping or have a history of rough sleeping and need support sustaining their accommodation in the longer term.

The role involves developing effective partnership working with Council and external agencies to finding innovative housing solutions.

The successful applicant will have a strong background in housing, social care or equivalent and a pro-active approach to customer care.


Essential Experience includes:

  • A background in working with vulnerable people with support needs, including mental health, physical health, learning disabilities, offending, rough sleeping and substance use issues.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and time effectively.
  • Ability to find solutions to complex housing problems and support needs.
  • Experience of working in a partnership approach with other agencies (local experience of services in Ealing would be an advantage)
  • Knowledge and experience of providing housing solutions to housing applicants, homeless clients or rough sleeping clients.
  • Knowledge and experience of working under the Housing Act 199
  • Ability to communicate, well verbally and in writing, with a range of people, from vulnerable rough sleepers to a range of professionals,
  • Advanced negotiation skills.
  • Excellent IT skills

It is expected that the potholder will work both from home and from Perceval House as required and there may be some work in other locations with partners or colleagues.
