Salary:

£25,000 - £27,000 Per annum

Job Duties:


  • Manage and oversee the credit control process for assigned ledgers
  • Monitor customer accounts, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices
  • Negotiate payment terms and arrangements with customers to facilitate debt recovery
  • Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and communications with customers
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on the status of outstanding debts and collections efforts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer queries and address any issues impacting payment
  • Follow company policies and procedures related to credit control and debt recovery
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practises in credit control

Required Qualifications:


  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in Credit Control
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong negotiation and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Thorough understanding of credit control principles and practises
  • Ability to analyse financial data and assess creditworthiness
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with multiple ledgers
