A great opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship Tutor to work for a growing, independent training provider based in Essex.

Due to continued growth within their business they are looking to strengthen the delivery team with the appointment of a new team member who has the skills to deliver Team Leading/Management Apprenticeships along with Business Administration and Customer Service.

The package available for the position of Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor:

  • Basic salary of up to £28000 depending on experience.
  • 23 days holiday plus public holidays.
  • Business mileage paid where applicable.
  • Social activities throughout the year.

Duties of the Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 35 learners through their apprenticeship journey.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits are achieved for all allocated learners within the agreed timescale.
  • Teaching, Learning and Assessment of apprenticeship standards and Functional Skills.
  • Coaching/mentoring on both a 1 to 1 and group basis where required.
  • Ensuring learners are producing evidence of their skills, knowledge and behaviours in line with the apprenticeship standard and 20% OTJT plan.
  • Provide support throughout the learning journey and conduct mock EPA's.
  • Meet all KPI's, compete all visits as required and maintain compliance standards in all areas in line with ESFA guidelines.
Skills, experience and Qualifications required for the position of Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor:

  • Vocational competence and experience in Team Leading/Management role.
  • Experience of delivering Team Leader/Management, Business Administration and Customer Service Apprenticeships is essential. If you are able to deliver other qualifications this would also be an advantage.
  • Experience of delivering Apprenticeship standards through to End Point Assessment.
  • Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA would be an advantage.
  • Recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTTLS, Award in Education or equivalent.
  • An enhanced DBS check will also be required for the successful applicant.
