A key objective of the JLR SVO organisation is to expand the range of well executed, high revenue product and feature deployed either on-line or off-line at each of the Production Assembly Plants or through the Dealer Channel.
To support this objective there is a requirement to appoint a new exciting Programme Scrum Master role to work within a new Agile operational model within SV, delivering new Halo products.
WHAT TO EXPECT
JLR have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master, ideally with an engineering background, to work in their industry leading Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) Team.
A key objective of the JLR SVO organisation is to expand the range of well executed, high revenue product and feature deployed either on-line or off-line at each of the Production Assembly Plants or through the Dealer Channel.
To support this objective there is a requirement to appoint a new exciting Programme Scrum Master role to work within a new Agile operational model within SV, delivering new Halo products.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities- Facilitate daily standup, Sprint Planning and Retrospective reviews.
- Promotes, supports and trains the squad in the usage of agile principles.
- Enables the squads to resolve impediments and debottleneck challenges.
- Able to hold a mirror to the team to see where things could be improved.
- Manage programme delivery while ensuring transparent communications and reporting.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- A strong understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience in leading/managing a technical delivery team.
- A background in delivering engineeringbased products.
- A resilient and problemsolving mindset.
- Experience in Project / Programme Management, with track record of delivery.
- A high level of understanding of Agile and its principles.
- Experience in delivering a project in an engineeringbased sector.
- Proactive and able to help to coach the squad to learn and improve.
- An enabler and facilitator, enabling the team to remove obstacles.
- Experience in using agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
