Description

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join our hardworking and committed Waste team.

You will be responsible for developing a network of repair and reuse activity across the Borough and coordinate relevant funding bids to Welsh Government.

You will be responsible for managing the programme of work for all short and medium term waste and recycling contracts and to undertake site visits to ensure all waste and recycling contractors are fulfilling their contractual obligations.

You will also have line management responsibility for the Waste Services Technical Officer and oversee the accurate reporting of waste and recycling performance and data.

You will also play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Waste Strategy by managing waste and recycling projects and implementing change in order to meet future targets.

Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
