Purpose of the Role
As Stores Supervisor you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the Stores function, maintain a safe working environment and to plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and issues of goods.
- Maintain the smooth operation of a fastmoving environment. Be responsible for the daytoday supervision of the Stores function, to ensure company's targets, objectives and requirements are met.
- Be aware of and comply with health, safety, COSHH and standard operating procedures.
- Be responsible for standards and continuous improvement within the Stores.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and issuing of goods.
- Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets timescales/requirements.
- Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
- Ability to delegate work tasks on your own initiative.
- Ability to undertake a varied workload, to the highest standard and work to tight deadlines.
- Work with a diligent attention to detail.
- Innovative and contribute to the development and improvement of the department and estate.
- Selfmotivated and enthusiastic when meeting new challenges.
- Your role will involve a high level of contact with a variety of stake holders therefore you must be able to demonstrate excellent customer care and communication skills and have a polite, pleasant, and professional demeanour.

A few 'need to knows'
- This role is offered with a pay salary of £24,736.90 per annum.
- Shift patterns consist of eighthour shifts working over five days of our sevenday week. As part of our training programme (whether that be as a new starter or continuous role related training), colleagues are required to take part in all shift patterns.
- All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
