Description

dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, includes the brands of Gold Medal, Netflights, Travelbag, Travel Republic, and Sunmaster.

These brands are based at offices across the UK including Preston (Leyland), Kingston-upon-Thames, Chester and Halifax.

We are now recruiting for a Junior Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating inspiring and editorially-relevant content. Working across two brands, you will write engaging, accurate copy for a range of channels, both digital and offline.

Using your excellent writing skills and natural creative flair, you'll produce everything from blog posts to landing pages to magazine articles, while working closely with your colleagues across Marketing, SEO and Product.

Key Responsibilities

Writing inspiring and precise copy, in line with our brand style and tone of voice
Researching and writing detailed longform content, such as destination pages, blog posts, hotel pages and magazine articles
Contributing creative, relevant ideas for our marketing activity, in line with our brand strategies
Carrying out keyword research to make sure online content is always optimised for SEO
Staying up to speed with industry trends and key competitors

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Excellent editorial skills, with exceptional English, impeccable grammar and strong attention to detail
A solid understanding of writing for the web; generally webliterate, with basic HTML skills and experience of content management systems
Enthusiastic and selfmotivated with the ability to work under your own initiative
Confident enough to contribute ideas and join in with creative discussions about concepts, campaigns or designs
The ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Sound geographical knowledge
A good understanding of SEO best practice is desirable, but not essential
Experience within travel and/or leisure is highly desirable

Our office is based in Kingston-upon-Thames, just 5 minutes' walk from Norbiton Station or 10-15 minutes from Kingston station offering good transport links from the Greater London area.
