Circa £32,000

Lincoln

MC Technical Recruitmentis currently looking to recruit an Operator to work at an anaerobic digestion site in Lincoln. This role will be performed on a shift basis with a 1 in 3 on-call rota. Previous AD experience is not required, those with transferrable experience are encouraged to apply.


As the Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the operation of the site, and attending to breakdowns
  • Performing plant walkarounds, adjustments, and readings
  • Using DCS/SCADA systems to monitor and control operational equipment
  • Operating mobile plant to load and maintain feedstocks
  • General tidying and housekeeping of the site
  • Assisting in a 1 in 3 on call rota
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • NVQ level 2 or higher in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience in a related engineering or process sector (Navy technicians are encouraged to apply)
  • Mechanical skills and willingness to learn and train these, and other skills within, the role
  • AD or agricultural experience and advantage
  • Full UK Driver's licence required due to remote location of site
