WHAT TO EXPECT
We are looking for a talented Chapter Lead to drive forward our strategy of digitalising propulsion engineering processes and decision making


This is a central role to JLR's Powertrains Digital Transformation, providing the opportunity to transform the customer experience throughout the complete vehicle lifecycle.

As the Chapter Lead for Prognostic Data Acquisition, you'll play a key part in leading data engineers, scientists and analysts who will shape and deliver the Propulsion System prognostic capabilities and data analytics strategic vision.


Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Lead a team to deliver the strategic vision and the technical delivery of new data products or technology, including Personalised Vehicle Health Care
Oversee the delivery and optimisation of analytics and prognostic solutions, ensuring the solutions meets business needs
Oversee the internal and external customer attribute and technology requirements and requests within the AGILE framework
Govern the quality and impact of data acquisition and offboarding requirements

Working with data teams within the entire organisation to ensure the team works with the latest techniques, knowledge and best practices.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge of data engineering principles:
Understanding of SQL, ETL processes and big data processing and/or cloud architecture

Familiar with model deployment:
CI/CD practices, data monitoring, cloud services & architecture, containerisation and pipeline management
Experience with identifying and acting on needs for future improvements, technical or organisational. Experience of leading a technical team of data practitioners.
