Assistant Fire Safety Advisor

Venn Group is working with an NHS Trust who are currently looking for an Assistant Fire Safety Advisor to support the promotion and compliance of fire policies and procedures throughout the Trust.

Below is a brief synopsis on the role,


Location:
Berkshire

Hourly Rate:
£19.01 PAYE or £20.99 through an Umbrella Company

Duration:
temporary to permanent position

Hours: 37.5 per week

Day to day duties include:
  • Support the delivery of statutory fire training, specialist courses, fire marshals and educate on patient evacuation techniques
  • Provide comprehensive advise on complying with relevant legislation
  • Review policies and procedures to develop an extensive fire safety programme, including for evacuation drills
  • Liaise with authorities to ensure effective fire management is maintained
  • Monitor, investigate and analyse firerelated incidents to produce detailed reports
  • Carry out annual quality audits and monthly KPI reports on compliance

Essential Skills for the role:


  • Proven experience working in fire safety, health & safety or estates discipline
  • Fire Safety or Health & Safety qualification
