Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of an expanding Client Delivery & Project team.

This is a crucial role to lead both existing and new customers to transfer member data from their incumbent software to their new software.

In addition, you will be responsible for customer migrations as we transfer them from legacy platforms to our new payment platform.

It is therefore essential to build and nurture excellent working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.


You will be accountable for managing the full end to end data migration process between Xplor product sets, as well as performing migrations for customers who are migrating from an external solution.

You will work with both the customers and their incumbent provider(s) to ensure data sets are in a suitable format to be migrate into the Xplor solution, and act autonomously to problem solve situations to support migrations.


You will collaborate closely with Project Delivery Managers, Engineers, and customers to ensure successful and complete data migrations in line with project timescales and escalate concerns at an early stage, should you perceive there to be potential obstacles or delays.

This will ensure projects are managed effectively, delivered on time, within budget and scope.


You will be responsible for data analysis and investigation, as well as managing the flow and storage of data in and out of the business, ensuring it complies with information security and GDPR regulations.


You will oversee the full data migration lifecycle, including the creation and preparation of documents and processes to build a suite of resources, and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Your key tasks will include:

  • Act as an expert to investigate data anomalies and provide definitive summaries with suggested solutions or actions
  • Understand the customer outcomes through data sets
  • Partner with the Project Delivery teams to manage the timelines of migrations for ongoing projects within the pipeline across multiple products
  • Complete and lead on data extraction and imports from external and internal sources to multiple products
  • Complete pre and post migration configuration within our key products
  • Ensure all data handling within the team follows all guidelines and regulations
  • Work with the Senior Client Project Delivery Mangers & The Client Solution Project Consultant as well as other internal senior stakeholders to create and refine a classleading onboarding, offboarding and migration experience
  • Update project management software to maintain project progress
  • Create documentation and review processes to drive continued improvement
  • Summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users
  • Help define and improve our current data migration processes

Qualifications:

Required skills and traits:
_**- Significant workplace experience in handling large volumes of data and associated GDPR and Data security regulations

  • Demonstrable experience and robust knowledge in data mapping and the ability to understand and manipulate data towards achieving an end goal
  • Previous experience in data migration/analysis roles
  • Excellent with MS excel, with knowledge of formulas, pivots, vlookups, etc
  • Ability to identify suitable migration tools to work with multiples data sets
  • Knowledge of MS Office Products
  • Keen eye for detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in the data and find solutions to resolve these in a timely manner
  • Understanding of data with the ability to provide insight and analysis through clear visual, written, and verbal communication
  • Effective time and task management
