Finance & Administration Assistant - BeaverFit Ltd
The Finance Administration assistant role will be fulfilled by someone who is well organised, self motivated.
You should be willing and confident to get involved in all areas of the business with a 'can do' approach required for a busy and growing company whilst being positive, friendly and efficient.
The role will be reporting to the Finance Manager.Responsibilities
Credit control debtor management, sales reporting and raising sales invoices
Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers regarding queries and payments
Assisting with Invoice processing, supplier recs, queries, reporting and filing
Supplier payments
Reconciliation of Direct Debits
Processing expense claims and payments
Maintaining paper and electronic records and updating and maintaining procedural documentation
Assisting with cash allocation and bank reconciliations
Raising sales quotes and purchase orders on an ad hoc basis
Admin coordinator of H&S liaising with 3rd party advisor and organising audits
ISO, construction line and CHAS membership administration
Assisting project managers and production with day to day administration and travel bookings
Working with external HR consultants on personnel related items, employee training admin and apprenticeship scheme
Experience
Strong relevant finance and administration background
Financial qualification an advantage
Excellent level of numeracy skills and attention to detail
PC Literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. QuickBooks experience would be an advantage but not essential
Good decision making and attention to detail
An ability to quickly learn new IT systems
Able to undertake a wide range of complex duties whilst showing initiative
Work confidently under pressure and prioritise work
Able to communicate effectively, assertively but professionally with customers, Senior Leaders, Project Managers, Site Staff, and Internal Teams
Ability to work well as part of a team
Proactive, self-motivated, and focused
Hours of work
Part time over 5 days a week - school hours/flexible
