    The Role

    • Prepare technical proposals and cost estimates for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and modular skids
    • Review and interpret customer specifications, drawings, and industry standards
    • Perform preliminary engineering calculations to assess feasibility and cost-effectiveness
    • Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to create competitive, high-quality proposals
    • Engage with clients during bid phases and attend customer meetings (UK and occasionally overseas)
    • Provide technical and commercial support to both internal teams and external customers

    What We're Looking For

    • Engineering qualification (HND minimum, degree preferred) in Mechanical or related field
    • Experience in Applications, Proposals, or Technical Sales within heat exchangers, pressure vessels, or similar engineered products
    • Strong understanding of mechanical principles (Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Mass/Heat Balance Equations)
    • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, PED)
    • Commercial awareness and ability to develop cost-effective solutions
    • A team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
