Description

We are looking for a cook to join our team on a three month basis to cover our cook being on leave.


Your responsibilities will be:


To be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements at all times.


To organise, cook and prepare a healthy, balanced diet for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the nursery menus.

To take into consideration daily those children who have special dietry requirments and prepare a suitable alternative.

Ensure high standards of hygiene and the health and safety in the kitchen is maintained at all times.

Assist with ordering of food and putting away of food delivery.

Cleaning the kitchen and dishes etc and its surrounding areas and equipment.

Hours will be Monday to Friday 9am-2pm


Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 3 months

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
£10.00-£10.42 per hour

Experience:


  • Chef: 1 year (preferred)
  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
