Applications are welcomed for a Consultant Physician with an interest in Stroke Medicine post.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the existing Stroke team in Lincolnshire, who are a motivated, energetic and committed team of Physicians who are committed to providing high quality services to a largely rural population.

We have two full time Stroke Physician posts based at Lincoln County Hospital.

The purpose of these posts is to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the Lincolnshire population from prevention of hyper-acute treatment and all aspects of rehabilitation.

The appointees will join a busy, enthusiastic and hardworking team. Within the team there will be opportunities for developing sub-specialisations and every support will be given to research interests.

Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients with stroke, TIA and suspected cerebrovascular disease
Contribute to the provision of the acute stroke specialist service delivering thrombolysis and other specialist treatments.
