Billing Administrator

Salary:
£23,000 (Reviewed & Increased After Probation) + Performance Related Bonus


Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm

Ador Talent are working with an Engineering company based in Darwen/Blackburn, who design, build, operate and maintain centralised and efficient engineering solutions. Due to continued growth and completion of recent projects our client now requires a
Metering & Billing Administrator
to join the Metering & Billing team based in the Blackburn HQ.

Metering & Billing Administrators:


  • Daily management of direct debit requests including set up, verifications and amendments of direct debit mandates and preparation of direct debit collection files.
  • Completing all Change of Tenancy requests & authorisation form requests prior to Bills being issued to customers.
  • Dealing with customer dissatisfaction / complaints with a Right First-Time approach
  • Administration tasks in relation to new and existing customer account requests including issue of welcome packs and replacement of prepayment cards.
  • Preparation and review of consumption reports for customers.
  • Engaging with clients to process work order requests and provide service updates this includes completing the administrative work required on conversions of smart metering.
  • Carrying out credit billing contract procedures which include reminder notices for overdue bills and monthly reports for clients and internal reporting.
  • Liaise with senior coordinators to support the mobilization and onboarding of new contract awards of new customers.

Experience Required

  • Excellent customer service skills including confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GDPR regulations in relation to processing sensitive personal information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A flexible approach to managing workload with the ability to work to deadlines and able to prioritise and perform tasks under pressure.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels using various methods of communication.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and help build relationships within it to achieve team goals.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
