An exciting opportunity to join our small Marketing team.

Reporting to our Marketing Executive, this role provides a superb balance of independence and team work to drive forward the marketing strategy for Harris Fowler.

The successful individual will also work closely with other support areas such as IT, HR and Recruitment to drive forward brand awareness for clients and for staff.

You will be naturally inquisitive, with a genuine interest in marketing.

  • Undertake basic competitor analysis, keeping abreast of competitor initiatives and key messages
  • Engage with the marketing strategy and review, monitor and assess its success
  • Update and manage content on social media platforms and website
  • Identify content opportunities for social media and website and keep abreast of new platforms and initiatives to drive forward client and employee brand awareness
  • Invite, monitor and feedback on customer reviews, through both the website and online review sites
  • Support and identify new initiatives to maximise business development opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the thirdparty marketing agencies to optimise search engine and pay per click advertising strategies
  • Organise meetings on behalf of the marketing team, with key stakeholders as required
  • Support the Marketing Executive and Chief Exec as required

Person Specification

  • Essential_
  • Experience in digital marketing, content creation and campaign management and experience of working with third party agencies
  • Familiarity with SEO/PPC best practices is desirable
  • Ability to develop social media accounts to drive engagement and traffic
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of internal and external communication channels
  • Administrative skills, with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to engage effectively with people in a variety of roles and at differing levels of seniority
  • Ability to work independently, but also an effective team player, with the ability to facilitate cross team working
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and generate ideas
