GROUNDS MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE

At D A Thomas we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards, so our team need to uphold these standards and exceed our customers' expectations.

We are responsible for maintaining high end holiday lets, public areas and offices, so, we have plenty of variety throughout the working week.

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE - HOLIDAY LETS, COMMERCIAL AND DOMESTIC GARDENS

You will be responsible for the maintenance of multiple domestic and commercial gardens and will be involved in all aspects of our property maintenance business.

Responsibilities will include:

• All aspects of grounds / garden maintenance at our customers' properties.
• Assisting with project works and landscaping.
• Helping to develop the business through innovation and growing our customer base.
• Ensuring our customers grounds and gardens are safe and fit for purpose.
• Ensuring all chemicals are used and stored safely according to COSHH regulations
• Reporting all defects at our customers sites
• Complete all and any adhoc gardening that has been priced and agreed.
• Ensuring that the gardens are safe and secure on departure.

HOURS OF WORK
The hours vary from site to site and are delivered according to our customers' requirements.

Our business operates 363 days a year, and our commitments can vary each week. So, we ask that applicants can be as flexible as possible.


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential requirements:

• Driver with 5 years driving experience
• Good communication skills
• Experience in Grounds Maintenance and Gardening
• An eye for detail
• The confidence and ability to work independently to a very high standard.
• You must be a team player.
• You must have a positive attitude.
• Can present yourself well to customers

Desirable requirements:

• PA/1 PA/6S Knapsack praying license

Salary:
£21,118.00-£23,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
