Key Responsibilities:
_

To prepare work prior to the processing operation to meet customer requirement, with awareness of Health & Safety / Environmental / Quality aspects required within the company.

Role Specific Duties_

• Good basic understanding of the principles of masking/vacu blasting in accordance with internal procedures.
• Experience in various masking techniques and ability to jig components
• Be able to understand and follow internal and external SOP's
• Achieve the production plan, ensuring that all the customers' product is within specification required.
• Understanding and care of handling all parts

- _Ability to read a micrometre and use other relevant measuring equipment_

• Ensure acceptable quality levels are achieved
• Understanding principles of work preparation practices
• Ensure all documentation relevant to the processing is followed and completed correctly

- _Ensure all re work is documented to procedure_

Statutory Duties_

• Work in a safe manner in compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures alongside statutory requirements. Reporting any unsafe working practises / activities is essential.
• Work in a manner that will maintain compliance to compliance to the Environmental policies and procedures alongside statutory requirements. Reporting any potential environmental issues is essential.

Business Duties_

• Continually review working practices to remove and reduce waste and nonvalue adding activities. Actively support and contribute to the continuous improvement programme.
• Participate in training activity within the company.
• Work with a minimum amount of supervision, supporting and maintaining good level of productivity in business.
• Positively support teamwork and circulation of experience within the workforce (through mentoring, knowledge sharing and development of standard operating procedures).
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work place and maintaining shadow boards / equipment provided.
