Your role at Orbit.
Orbit are looking to recruit an experienced Facilities Officer / Administrator based out of our offices in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The role is a full time permanent position that offers the opportunity to work from home on Fridays with free on site parking for the rest of the week.

In this role of Facilities Officer you will provide a comprehensive office administration and support service to the Facilities department.


Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Assist in the management and Analysis of facilities office budgets
  • Provide daily facilities support to local offices when required
  • Record occupancy levels at offices and to assist with the administration of rooms/desk booking facilities
  • Access a range of IT systems in order to record and report on facilities activities
  • Develop and maintain a schedule of our office information and leases and update as appropriate
  • Assist in the management of a range of office contracts including security, cleaning, reactive repairs etc
  • Organise and manage our electronic filing system
  • Carry out administration tasks relating to the ordering of goods and services
  • Liaise with internal customers and external suppliers/contractors
  • Maintain information relating to equipment assets within offices
  • Organise meetings, including room booking, refreshments and equipment arrangements
  • Monitor office compliance and ensure H&S statutory testing is completed and recorded
  • Assist in the production and maintenance of team Business Resilience plans
  • Assist in the roll out of environmental initiatives across offices and update registers as required

To be successful in this role of Facilities Officer you will need to be an excellent written and verbal communicator with excellent organisational skills.

If you have back ground in facilities or office administration then this could be the role for you.

It is also essential that you have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A proactive and selfmotivated approach to working
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Proficient skills in the use of IT Systems and Microsoft packages
  • Attention to detail
