Lead Support Worker

Arbor Project


The LSW role will be to manage a client caseload, providing support that delivers positive outcomes for both the clients and the organisation, ensure accurate and timely records are kept and positively promote and engage the delivery of support models.

The role will also include tenancy sustainment.


From The Arbor Project will be supporting 40 individuals from across Derby and Derbyshire, this is an increase of 8.

This will include "ring fenced beds" for females, who may be victims, as well as offenders and "ring fenced beds" for IOM ( Integrated Offender Management) managed individuals.

These additional 8 will be at "high risk of re-offending" and they may have an increased level of need.


The Arbor project will continue to work with the existing cohort of 32 individuals who are managed as "High or Very High Risk of Harm" to others.

Within this cohort of 32 there may be individuals who have a history of sexual or violent offending.


The LSW role for both cohorts will consist of delivering support that delivers positive outcomes for the clients, the organisation and the wider community in terms of rehabilitation, community re-integration, reducing re-offending rates, tenancy sustainment and independent living skills in order for the individuals to be able to move to independent living and to be rehabilitated in the wider community.


The LSW role includes working in multi-agency settings ie MAPPA, IOM, MARAC, Community Safety Partnership, Public Protection, Mental Health, Womens Work, Drug and Alcohol Services, so as such, experience and knowledge of working with Offenders, IOM, MAPPA and MARAC arrangements is essential.

Successful applicants must be willing to cover until 7pm Monday to Friday on a rota basis.

Salary:

£21,189.00-£26,125.00 per year
