The team


The planning team are our clients' key contacts; they are confident on all aspects of the media strategy & media planning.

As marketplace & media experts, they own the process & media plans from curation to execution & analysis, and must constantly think as the client does, and with a growth mind-set.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the agencies most exciting and meaningful accounts, Macmillan.

Macmillan see us a true partner in their ambition to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can.

Macmillan's primary objectives are to raise income by encouraging people to GIVE support to Macmillan and to also drive uptake of their cancer services by encouraging people living with cancer to GET support from them.


As an organisation they are seeking change and are looking to Zenith to help drive seamless integration between their divisions including Brand, Cancer Support Services and Fundraising.

Macmillan's annual media investment is c£30M and includes a broad media mix of Brand TV, DRTV, OOH, Radio, Print, Paid Social, Display, PPC, SEO & Health Care Media.


The Planning Executive is responsible for assisting the wider team in the successful delivery of an effective & efficient media plan, working with specialist support teams, and helping to manage the implementation and reporting of campaigns to clients.

Sitting within the planning team, they will touch new campaigns design & setup, audience, marketplace & competitor insight discovery, reporting & measurement and much more


Your key responsibilities

  • Own the overall media plan, with a holistic view of the role online/offline plays
  • Monitor campaign activity and interpreting the information/data
  • Facilitate both internal and external partners to activate, monitor, optimise and report on campaign performance activity
  • Present key campaign findings/insight to the client
  • Ensure that projects and deliverables are met on time to the highest standard
  • Monitor competitor activity and share regular updates/reports with the wider Macmillan agency team and clients
